The “Mitino” hotel, which located close to the expo center, is important strategic partner with MEC «Crocus Expo». Such ideal location, quality of service, comprehensible prices and necessary conditions for work – the basic components of successfull hotel. Evgeniya Bogatova is a general director of a group of companies «Russian Gold» – the owner of the “Mitino” hotel, told about plans for the future to “B&v”.
Evgenie Romenovna, today many companies work on prospect. Tell about future of the ”Mitino” hotel. What would you like to change and improve?
- Companies, who make service, try to work always on prospect. If guests are happy they will come again, give positive responses to colleagues, friends.
Therefore, improving quality of service, working with the personnel, expanding sphere of services, we create strong base for the future.
Certainly, there is variety of aspects of our work which we would like to improve: interior and technical infrastructure of hotel, quality of staff’s service.
We constantly prosecute these subjects. If you work every day, problems will be solved. Business has to be systematic.
A lot of foreigners stay in our hotel. We would like to expand numbers of foreigners, therefore now we study a question on hotel certification under the European standards.
Unfortunately, certification process has already being completely paralyzed for half a year in our country. Voluntary certification replaced by obligatory, the decision on this question is accepted, but the real mechanism of actions doesn’t exist. It is pity and nobody knows when it will be happened.
We have plans to expand the hotel business.
On the same ground area in Mitino where the hotel is now located, we plan to construct one more multipurpose complex. New hotel will be located on the part of this area.
Now we specify the concept, we work over the allowing documentation. I think that plans will get visible outlines during next months.
What do you consider as the main achievement during the last years?
– I consider as important part that we put hotel in operation in time, just on the eve of the crisis beginning in economy, and successful "passed" its sharp phase.
We started to work on September, 10th, 2008, and could not only adjust efficient control, but also made hotel recognized and attractive to visitors for short period of hotel business term.
I think it is a quite good occasion to pride, but at all an occasion to rest on laurels.
To work and develop the first successes necessary constantly and as I have already spoken, systematically.
As a manager you often have to stay in hotels. What did you notice the first as a visitor?
– If it is business trip for 2-3 nights it will be fine to have a convenient bed, good shower, tasty breakfast and coffee. It is better to have a coffee in coffee-pot that possible to drink some cups, without waiting waiters after each cup.
I become nerves on dependence on waiters at breakfast for some reasons.
Certainly, the hotel location is the most important thing from the point of view of transport availability of proper places in a city (offices, expocenters, etc.).
I am sure I am not alone in the preferences. We also build a policy of own hotel on the account of similar subtleties.
What do you except of the cooperation with expo center « Crocus Expo »?
– The "Mitino" hotel is located close to the “Crocus Expo», and we consider our cooperation as important part.
Our visitors are participants and visitors of exhibitions.
It is convenient to exhibition center that nearby there is a hotel adapted under needs of businessmen.
We have plans to expand and improve cooperation with «Crocus Expo ». We are always glad to consider any mutually advantageous variants.
